The St. Regis Bahia Resort caught my attention over a year ago during a two week vacation in Puerto Rico. Now that we are living in Puerto Rico full time, I booked a spa day at Remede Spa at St Regis Bahia resort.

Continue reading “Remede Spa Review St Regis Bahia Resort, Puerto Rico”The Radio Telescope in Arecibo, Puerto Rico has been on my travel destination wish list for almost 20 years, ever since the Visitor’s Center was built in 1997. The Arecibo Radio Telescope was completed in 1963 after only 3 years of construction. It is a Scientific treasure and an impressive piece of engineering.
I finally was able to explore the World’s Largest Radio Telescope mere weeks after it was no longer the largest – July 2016 China opened a Radio Telescope that is slightly larger, claiming the World’s Largest Title. Arecibo Observatory is well worth a visit for anyone who loves science and engineering.

Our adventures included exploring Old San Juan, dining, shopping, scuba/snorkel trip, and plenty of beach time. We headed off to the Waldorf Astoria Spa, located in the lovely El Conquistador Resort in Fajardo, Puerto Rico.
My first visit to the El Conquistador resort was last year, but this was my first time for spa treatments. Each previous resort visit included a scuba dive, how had I not thought to follow up with a massage? Hmm.

The first time that I went rafting was in Colorado with a very experienced group. They asked me if I wanted to go on a weekend trip, and one full day was going to be rafting. Without asking any questions, I said YES!

After Living in Puerto Rico for 3 months, we finally went to El Yunque rain forest on the Northeast corner of the island. The lush tropical rainforest is consistently one of the top recommended destinations in Puerto Rico, for good reasons. The unique landscape and sweeping views will take your breath away!
